Root Canal

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected and is beyond repair with a normal restoration or simple filling. When the decay, infection or inflammation travels to the nerve of the tooth, root canal treatment is recommended to save the tooth.

During a root canal procedure, we remove all bacteria from inside the tooth. Without treatment the tooth may become infected and abscesses may form.

Root canal treatment may include two to three visits, which involves careful removal of dead tissue, cleaning and shaping of the root canals and sealing of the tooth. Advances in treatment and technology offers quicker, pain free and more predictable results.

Root canal treatments are a great option if you want to save your tooth, rather than having missing teeth from extraction or uncomfortable dentures. With our state of the art facilities and experienced clinicians you can get the best treatment possible.
